A BETTER FUTURE
What will your living area look like? You will need to design a base taking into consideration the various types of domes (dormitory, relaxation, vegetation (for oxygen and agriculture), hospital, police/army/security, entertainment) think of volume of air, surface area, costs of construction etc.
Why did we choose to build our living area like this?
Domes are the most efficient shape for extra space.
Why is the interior set up in this way ?
The interior is decorated in this certain way to make the most out of our space. We have drawn influence from boat designs which are very space efficient and it is what we need in Mars.
What is the purpose of the connecting tubes?
To have walkways accesible with out a space suit. Also if there were to be a oxygen leakage in one dome we could seal it off and protect the rest.
