What Type Of People Will You Take With You? You Need To Determine The Individuals And The Skill Set Required.

Biology impacts living in space:

Since the gravity is 38% the blood and other fluids that is usually in your feet will rise up through your body and cause large headaches and other health problems. You will weigh less in space because the gravity changed and you won’t be strong as you were before you went into space.

As the blood pressure rises up it sends a signal. If their is a higher blood pressure in the head it raises an alarm. That means the body has too much blood! Between two or three days weightless, the blood volume of astronauts can lose as much as 22% of their blood. This also affects the heart too, Dr.Victor Schneider ( research medical officer for NASA headquarters) explains why: “If you have less blood, then your heart doesn’t need to pump as hard. It’s going to atrophy”.

As astronauts go up to space they eventually go back to earth. Schneider says “Each of the parameters have their own normal recovery time. Astronauts gets thirsty when they come back, because their body says, you don’t have blood in your blood vessels and that causes the messengers to say, drink more. Also the body doesn't urinate as much”.

Aparently it takes long time to recover from the trip, schneider says “Within a month or two, we normally say that it takes a day (of recovery on earth) for each day that somebody’s in space”. The bone recovery has proven problematic. “For a three to six month space flight” says schneider also, “it might require two or three years to regain lost bone” If it is coming back. Some studies has advised that the lost bone doesn’t come back, Schneider said “You really have to exercise a lot, you really have to work at it”.
