What will be the constitution/living agreement for your colony? You need to discuss possibilities, decide what will be part of it & then write it up.
For our nation we could use many forms of government in order to succeed. We could build a dictatorship, oligarchy, or many other things. We have decided that it would be in everybody’s best interest that we make a democratic republic where we elect a chancellor, vice chancellor, and a council to govern. In our Martian nation All men are created equal, that they are endowed with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Constitution:
We the People of the Republic of Mars, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Republic of Mars. All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness
